About this campaign

I adopted Ozzy in March of 2018 from an animal shelter in Orange County. I had been visiting the shelter for about a week, playing with the animals and mourning the loss of my dog. I decided to visit the cats, although I didn’t think I would ever have one. As I walked past Ozzy’s cage- she reached her arms out towards me, laying on her back and meowing. I put my face in her paws and fell for her. I was told she was brought in with her sister but someone had adopted her sister the previous day and it broke my heart! I knew she was coming home with me. She had been in perfect health up until a couple months ago. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her- She was urinating blood and crying persistently. The vets tried different medications and nothing worked- so we did an X-Ray and found a massive stone blocking her bladder. After spending massive amounts of money and visits and testing- we were given the surgery estimate and it devastated me. I’d already blown through my saving for my own oral surgery on her vet visits/testing/medications/xrays..and then found out she needs this surgery that I just can’t afford. I’ve tried every avenue and I’m just hoping that someone out there feels Ozzys pain and if they were able to donate ANYTHING it would help save her life. She’s just a baby, and she’s my best friend. She’s always with me and I’d do anything I could for her. She started out life in a tough spot and I hate to see her in pain. For now she is on multiple medications to ease her pain and antibiotics for any infections in the bladder from the stone...but she can’t stay like this forever. If anyone out there feels they could help- we would be forever grateful.
