Ozzy is a rescue, he was dumped very sick in my town At some point he must’ve crawled to lay under the chicken pens as he crawled out from under them when he heard my voice when I walked by as he knew he needed help & knew I could help him. Doc Bowers has had him for a week now receiving IV fluids & antibiotics. I had to try to save the sweet boy who doesn’t hurt anyone.

Ozzy is very new to our family but we knew we couldn’t live without him. If a cat is smart enough to crawl out from under the chicken cages for help I knew we had to do all we could to help him. He’s so sweet & loving. He purred the whole way to the house for me to put him in the carrying case to go to vet. He’s like his namesake, Ozzy Osbourne, & a fighter.

He’s technically my mom’s cat. She’s on SS and has about 25 others that she’s constantly having to get medical help for. I’m a teacher & don’t make that much to be able to help her out. To have Ozzy healthy will be a great relief knowing I helped save him.

Ozzy has been receiving sub-q guilds & IV antibiotics at the vet’s office for a week now. All this to fight the infection he has & the dehydration. Whoever dumped him dumped him because he was sick & they didn’t want to pay to get him help! But he’s smart & is fighting this infection! Doc Bower in Colby, KS is our savior. His whole team are kind & caring dedicated to helping save pets.

When you think of Ozzy you smile as how can one not with the black cat luck he has. Although he’s used up one of his 9 lives for sure. He’s very sweet & loves the ladies at vet’s helping him get better. He’s got a way with the ladies!! He’s very smart & wanted to be saved. I feel it’s our job to do just that! I couldn’t just put him down I had to try just as he is trying.
