P-Paw is a 13-year-old Russian Blue Cat in Orange Park, FL, who needs $2,000 for Head CT Scan and Biopsies.

My sweet P-Paw came into my life one rainy night when I was walking my dog Aurora. She heard a faint cry in the bushes at the park. She peaked in the bushes and found a wet, scared little kitty. After no luck finding an owner, that sweet baby became mine from that day forward. I got his crazy name because he is a Hemingway cat with 8 digits on each paw, including the cutest little thumbs.

P-Paw is the only furbaby in my household. It's just me and him. My only human child passed away, so P-Paw is ALL I have. We do everything together, we go outside and play with some of his favorite toys, we lay on the couch and watch TV at night while I brush him, and we sleep together every night. He lays with me like a little baby and nurses on my arm while he's falling asleep.

He is so special to me because of the love we share. He's like my little shadow. I can't live without my little shadow and he doesn't deserve to die because I don't have the money to help him. In my heart, he's my son, he just happens to have fur and 4 legs. I've had him for 13 years, since he was about 6 months old. I've already lost my only human child, my son. I can't lose my other son.

He's had chronic colds/nasal issues since he was a baby, but he's always gotten better. This time that is not the case. He is very sick. His nose & throat are so congested that he can barely eat. He doesn't do anything anymore because he can't breathe right. The only way to help him is to have a Head CT Scan done which costs around $2,600.00. Dr Mark Walker is the specialist treating him.

I have had some medical problems of my own, which have kept me from being able to work full-time. I've always kept up on P-Paw's medical care but this came out of nowhere and the care is so expensive that I just can't come up with all of the money. I can't let my baby die.
