About this campaign

Pac has been a member of Genice G.'s family for ten years. Recently Pac seemed depressed and wasn't quite himself. At first, the family thought it was because his brother, General, passed away suddenly. "We could see that he was sad after his brother died," Genice tells Waggle.

But then they learned Pac had lymphoma! "We noticed his activity level fell significantly. Laying, getting up, and walking became very painful for him. He had swollen lymph nodes under his neck and also below his buttocks on his legs. Our vet referred us right away to The Oncology Service Richmond with Dr. Waite and her team to help give Pac a fighting chance," Genice says.

Genice and her family are rushing to raise the money for Pac to have chemotherapy. "Treatment is expensive," Genice adds. "We want to give him the best chance of survival. We are so close, he is already showing signs of remission, and with successful treatment, he can survive."

Please help give Pac a fighting chance to kick cancer!

"Pac is special to us because we love him dearly; although stoic, he will still want to engage us, he is resilient and such a good boy," Genice says. "Never any trouble, just pure love, and silliness. Everyone falls in love with him. Against the odds, he survived a complicated birth, a very bad experience at a kennel, a leg injury, and the loss of his lifelong companion. We are not giving up on him."
