Paco was a guest at the County Shelter. We went in and met Paco. It was love at first sight. He was affectionate and attentive. Calm around the other dogs. We noticed that Paco had some discolored teeth, the Shelter looked and affirmed that he might need some dental care. I adopted him, brought him home, and started bonding with him. Helping him to find comfort with me. in my home

Our household is just me and Paco. We cuddle a lot, take about 10 walks a day, and play the zoomy game, where he gets in the pounce position and I do to, then he zooms around the house then gets into the pounce position again. Paco is crate trained for those times I have to leave him home. He has free roam of the house; he is comfortable and loves his toys. He really loves soft chewy treats.

Paco is such a special dog. Especially when you factor in that he is hard of hearing and in constant dental pain. It's impressive how much training he has learned given those challenges. Paco has a big personality, loves to cuddle, and gets the zoomies every once in a while. He is great with other dogs and loves going on walks while marking his territory even if his marking them with air.

Originally, I was told that Paco had minor teeth issues. It wasn't until I was picking him up after his neutering surgery 5 days after I adopted him that I was informed of the seriousness of his dental issues and the potential health problems that can come from not resolving his dental issues. I am on Social Security Disability and have a limited income therefore it is impossible for me to come up with a large sum of money. It would take years for me to save enough money for Paco's surgery. Knowing that Paco is in pain all the time breaks my heart.
