Paddy is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Tottenham, ON, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

Paddy showed up a few days after the owners sister had passed away and never left. He was invited in to a loving home where he stayed and is loved everyday.

Paddy is struggling from a urethral blockage where he has had to go in to the vet to be drained. They have deemed surgery is required. They need to cut his penis off to widen the urethra so he is able to use the washroom comfortably. This procedure is called Perineal urethrostomy.

Paddy has been my mom’s companion since she lost her sister. He is well loved and enjoys his nightly snuggles with my mom. I personally spend my time with him in the mornings before work. He is so affectionate and so full of love.

My parents are seniors who are retired on a strict government pension. I make minimum wage. We have been denied pet insurance due to previous history. Having this surgery and having paddy healthy again would be a breath of fresh air. I cry myself to sleep feeling so helpless
