Pah Pah is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Haysville , KS, who needs $2,000 for Lymph Node Biopsy and X-Rays for Further Diagnosis.

Pah Pah was rescued from a local shelter after 3 months there.. Originally to be an emotional support animal for me, but was found to have the ability to detect a medical condition in my dad. He is an 8 years old and the sole pet of the family, often referred to as my child. He is convinced that Strangers just friends he hasn’t met yet and that everyone is here just to pet and cuddle him.

Pah Pah was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma after a recent dental cleaning. The tumor was so far back in his throat they were barely able to remove it. The closest vet who treats cancer is 300 miles away, and any treatment that may be needed will run anywhere from $3000 to $20,000 if not more, which is money we don’t have. He is in pain constantly and refuses to eat because of the pain.

Pah Pah loves being outside, fears storms and loves to snuggle. He has the ability to detect my dad’s Adrenal Crisis from Addison’s Disease, and in doing so saved his life by alerting us to the emergency early enough to get help before he is bad enough to require a trip to the hospital for more aggressive treatment and admission for further treatment. He has saved my dad’s life with this ability.

Last year I took a leave of absence from work for 5 months to care for my father while he underwent treatment for throat cancer. In doing so, my savings were completely wiped out and I had to get a surgery which prevented me from regrowing my savings leaving me broke
