About this campaign
Paisley and I have been together for almost two years. I rescued her from a shelter where she had just been dumped and was abused by her last owners. She is the brightest light in my life and I couldn’t imagine a day without her. She loves other dogs especially my roommate's dog Lola. They are always so excited to see each other and play all day.
Paisley has adapted to our life very well. She has a choice at night to either sleep in my bed or her own-though I do get slightly offended when she chooses her own. She is the biggest cuddle bug ever and absolutely loves all of my nieces and nephews. She loves going to the dog park or even just going for a ride with me to get a pup cup.
Paisley is the happiest pup out there unless she’s getting in trouble. She knows how to use those eyes when getting in trouble and will sometimes even pout to make me feel bad. She loves to sleep with her whole body under the covers. She loves to play fetch but only at the dog park otherwise she will destroy the tennis ball (and any other toy) at home.
When I rescued Paisley she had many problems ranging from heartworm to cherry eyes. We got past all of it together and are now facing happy tail. It first became a problem about a month ago and now her vets at CityVet believe the best option is amputation. While I want to give my fur baby the best care possible it is very hard on a college students income. I just want her to be okay again.
I am a college student serving tables to get my degree. Anything would help and it would mean the world to me and Paisley. I hate seeing her hurt in any way and it breaks my heart that I’m not able to help her due to my income.
