About this campaign
Meet Paisley, a sweet eleven-year-old Labrador Retriever mix from Virginia who recently faced a painful diagnosis: a soft tissue sarcoma on her right elbow. This loving senior girl needed surgery to remove the mass and give her the best chance at comfort and recovery. Thanks to her devoted mom and veterinary team, Paisley has already undergone surgery and is now on the road to healing — but the financial burden has been overwhelming.
Paisley’s surgery and care totaled $5,189.20. Paws 4 A Cure stepped in with a $300 grant, but her mom is still trying to raise an additional $550 to help cover the remaining expenses and continue Paisley’s care. Every contribution helps ease the strain and ensures Paisley gets everything she needs as she recovers.
Paisley has been a cherished companion since 2014. Adopted from a close friend, she quickly became more than just a pet — she became family. She’s the kind of dog who greets every morning with love, loyalty, and quiet comfort. Through every stage of life, she’s been a constant source of joy and unconditional affection.
When her mom discovered the growth on Paisley’s elbow, she acted immediately. The diagnosis was frightening, but doing nothing wasn’t an option. Paisley bravely underwent surgery on March 12th, and while she looked pitiful afterward, she’s now recovering and waiting for final pathology results to determine if further care will be needed.
Her mom has already paid a significant portion out of pocket, but the cost of emergency surgery and follow-up care has become more than she can manage alone. She’s reaching out with hope — not just for financial help, but for support from a compassionate community that understands how much our animals mean to us.
💜 Your tax-deductible donation — no matter the size — helps Paisley continue healing.
🐾 Sharing her fundraiser also makes a huge difference by spreading the word.
✨ Every dollar brings Paisley one step closer to a comfortable, cancer-free future.
Together, we can help ensure that the unconditional love Paisley gives every day continues for years to come.
4/23/26 Update
We have an important update on sweet Paisley.
Her surgery to remove the soft tissue sarcoma on her elbow is officially scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th. While this is a big and emotional step, it’s also a hopeful one — this procedure will give Paisley the best chance at comfort, healing, and more happy moments with the family who loves her so deeply.
As the date approaches, her mom is doing everything she can to prepare — emotionally and financially. Like so many pet parents facing unexpected medical crises, the costs have added up quickly, and the remaining balance is still a heavy burden.
Right now, your support matters more than ever.
💜 Donations will go directly toward Paisley’s surgery and follow-up care
🐾 Sharing her story helps us reach more people who can help
✨ Every contribution brings her one step closer to recovery
Paisley has spent over a decade giving unconditional love — now she needs us to rally around her. Let’s help her get through this surgery and onto the road to healing.
5/26/26 Update
After undergoing surgery to remove the soft tissue sarcoma on her elbow, Paisley is recovering well and continuing to heal surrounded by the love of her devoted family. This brave senior girl has been through so much over the past few months, but her strength and gentle spirit continue to shine through every step of her recovery journey.
Paisley’s next follow-up appointment with her veterinarian is scheduled for June 15th, where her medical team will evaluate how she is healing and monitor her progress moving forward. While we are incredibly encouraged by how well she is doing so far, ongoing follow-up care remains an important part of making sure Paisley stays comfortable and continues recovering safely.
Her mom has worked tirelessly to give Paisley the care she needed after receiving the heartbreaking cancer diagnosis, but the financial burden from surgery and treatment has been overwhelming. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated, shared her fundraiser, and supported Paisley along the way.
As Paisley continues healing, donations are still greatly appreciated to help with her remaining veterinary expenses and follow-up care. Every contribution helps ease the burden on her family and ensures Paisley can continue getting the care she deserves.
Thank you for being part of Paisley’s journey and for helping this sweet girl continue moving toward a brighter, healthier future.
