Pancita is a 14-year-old Puggle in San Diego, CA, who needs $1,500 for Eye Extraction.

We adopted Pancita when she was just 2 months old, she has been the best dog anyone could ever want. She lives inside our house and goes outside only to catch some sun and go potty. She is also a little spoiled. She is very loved by everyone she comes in contact with and warms the hearts of everyone she meets. We just feel so sad that there isn't more we can do for her.

Pancita gets along with everyone in the house, We also have a 3-year-old lab/hound mix that she gets along with, most of the time. In 2018 we lost our dog Padme due to illness, she was 12 years old. Pancita was just a year younger than her, and when Padme died, Pancita went into a deep depression and gained a lot of weight, and didn't want to do much, until we got Leia when she was 3 months old.

Due to 2020 being the way it has been, I was furloughed at the beginning of the year, then after I went back to work, I was assaulted at work by a "customer" on Halloween this year, preventing me from working. so now we are very behind on our bills.

Pancita, got cataracts in both eyes, in what seemed like literally overnight. She also had lost a lot of weight. After a few trips to the vet at Banfield Hospital, Dr. Friske was able to diagnose Pancita with having diabetes. We have been treating her for everything, prescribed by the doctor. I noticed that her right eye recently was filled with blood and was bulging out.

Pancita seems to have no fear, her nickname is two kinds, (as from the movie Big Mamma's House) where Big Mamma says, "That boy is two kinds of crazy". She is very loyal and loves to dress up when she can, to this day. She continues to give unconditional love, even when she is in pain. She is always at the front door when we come home from work, ready to greet us with a big howl.
