I’d like you to meet sweet love able little girl named Panda. She came to us from a local shelter. The poor mama had just had a litter of puppies before she was given up and was very unhappy in her crate. Once mom met her, she had to have her. She became our mom’s constant companion once she joined our family.

Panda is a very sweet lover. She shows her affection by trying to kiss you’d hands and your face. I’m not much into dog kisses, but I will let her give me just one to keep her happy. When she and my mom came to live with us, she was quite a runner. My husband taught her to stay in the yard and she didn’t wanted after that. She eventually even lived our shepherd mix dog.

Panda never barks which is unusual for any chihuahua‘s I’ve ever met. She loves to cuddle up under a blanket and is so quiet, I sometimes forget she’s there. Just because she’s quiet, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t let you know what she’s thinking or feeling. If we give her dry food or food she doesn’t like, she will use her nose to try and push a blanket over the bowl to hide it.

My mom died just over a month ago and Panda is now my dog and companion. After taking her to the vet for some urinary troubles, we found out that she has a bladder full of stones that must be removed. She’s in need of surgery as soon as possible to get her on the road to recovery. She’s now peeing blood and while she never complains, she is uncomfortable trying to go to the bathroom.

I spent the last 7 years caring for my mom & Panda. Several years ago, Panda was diagnosed with seizures. The medicine & vet visits are very expensive. Unfortunately, with mom’s passing we no longer have the funds to pay the high vet bills to treat both illnesses.
