Panda is a 13 year old Chihuahua in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $3,500 for Ultrasound for Heart/Abdominal, Dental & Meds.

We rescued Panda from the shelter when he was 6 years old and has been living with my partner and I since then. We have provided him a stable/loving environment knowing that he had experienced stress from the shelter and his previous environment.

He has a heart murmur that needs regular 6-12 month testing to monitor his condition. He recently developed chronic recurring digestive issues that we are trying to find a diagnosis to. Also, when we adopted him found out that he had dental issues and it was expected to increase as he got older. He needs extractions for infection prevention/prevent organ failure if it spreads.

Panda is a very sweet dog once he trusts you. What made our bond so special was that when I met him for the first time, Panda trusted me immediately and bonded instantly, which they did not expect because he is observant and careful with strangers. Panda is typically quiet and calm. He was anxious at first given his previous environment, but has grown so much and made so many milestones socially.

His heart murmur and digestive issues were unexpected costs that we did not expect since he did not have these issues years prior. We are worried our inability to pay for tests and treatment will delay the care that he needs and will affect his overall help.
