About this campaign

Every new cat that comes into Pumpkin’s Rescue Club deserves a safe place to land—and that starts with knowing what they may be carrying.

Pumpkin’s Rescue Club regularly takes in cats from the streets and other situations where their medical histories are unknown. Before these cats can safely join the rescue’s population, they need to be tested for serious and potentially contagious diseases, including panleukopenia and FeLV/FIV.

Right now, panleukopenia is rampant in our area, making rapid testing more important than ever. Cats showing symptoms need to be tested immediately so that any positive cats can be identified and isolated before the illness has a chance to spread to other vulnerable cats.

We’re raising funds to purchase:

🐾 30 panleukopenia tests

🐾 30 FIV/FeLV tests

These tests are an essential part of the rescue’s intake and veterinary process. Having them readily available means the rescue doesn’t have to wait when a sick or newly rescued cat needs answers. Quick testing can help the rescue make important decisions about isolation, treatment, and protecting the other cats in its care.

For a small rescue caring for cats who often arrive frightened, sick, and in need of immediate help, having these supplies on hand can make a tremendous difference.

Will you help Pumpkin’s Rescue Club stock its medical supply cabinet with these 60 critical tests?

Every donation helps the rescue be prepared for the next cat who needs a safe place to land—and helps protect the cats already counting on them.
