Papa Holman is a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Oak Park, IL, who needs $2,000 for Vertebrae Spinal Surgery.

Papa came into my life as a gift/rescue dog who was abused.I have had him for one year and 7 months now. I also have another dog 🐶 named diesel, who gets along very good together and has each other doggie backs. The name papa came from my aunt cynthia which fitted his personality so well to me and everyone who loves papa. He little but in charge lol

My dog papa is currently hospitalized at Med Vet hospital. Yesterday he was hit by a car who stopped briefly and kept going. He jumped out the car along with my other dog diesel. From this incident papa needs surgery in order to sustain his life. Has a fractured pelvic, traumatic hernia and displaced vertebrae in the spine. This is costly but I really want him to have a chance at his life.

Papa is a very gentle and loving dog. He loves playing with his other companions diesel (dog), his toys especially anything that squeaks. He barks a lot cause he loves to talk. Loves being outdoors and running around. He loves being held and so comforting to everyone who comes into interaction with him. He is really my support system and lovable in all ways

It means everything to have papa back to his old self, he is more than a pet he is my family, my comfort. Due to me just losing my job it is really hard for me to cover his expenses that Medvet is saying for the surgery for him to stay alive. I’m really hurt and just prayin.
