Papi is a 1-year-old Pit bull in Philadelphia , PA, who needs $733 for Medical / Surgical treatment .

My dog was a gift from my spouse which was perfect timing due to my personal issues. I felt a change in myself and my life because of my loving dog. I felt more joy ,happiness and more patience. I can honestly say my dog did change my life.

He is very loving. He is very outgoing and happy. When he meets a person, he is always excited and loves meeting and being around people, even other animals. My family loves Papi. His favorite thing is playing with his toys and running outside in the grass. He also loves going to the park and just running.

Since his accident he hasn’t been his self. He is always a happy, energetic dog but due to the sad encounter, he just wants to lay around most of the day and cry and it breaks our heart to see him so down. It’s almost like he is depressed.

The hospital he attended was called Brees Animal Hospital and the treatment that was able to be done was exam and pain medication. The other main treatments were unable to be done which was x-ray, bloodwork and possible surgery because they believe his leg is broken and the animal hospital was trying to do their best due to our inability to pay.

Me and my spouse don’t have kids of our own so we look at Papi as a child. He is a part of our family. We treat him as our baby boy, he loves to be spoiled by us; that’s what make him so perfect in our eyes. Our dog is one of a kind and very near and dear to our hearts and to our family and friends.
