Papis is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Queens, NY, who needs $2,000 for Dental Exam and Disease (Extractions).

Papis first came into our lives when we decided to foster him. We picked him up on August 26 of 2024 then later decided to adopt him on September 25 of 2024.

We recently found out that Papis has stage 2 dental disease with moderate staining and left mandibular FORL (Feline odontoclastic resorptive lesion). This is a painful dental disease in cats that causes teeth to erode and eventually be destroyed. The name of the hospital is Austin Vet Care.

We found out that Papis had been surrendered by his previous owner and this made us sad. He has a cute and handsome face, always brightening up our home. Whenever we wake up or come home from a long day, we always look forward to seeing Papis. He has such a sweet personality who asks for attention and often head bunts. He's very energetic and will get up whenever he hears the bells on his toys.

We don't have the financial resources to cover the costs on our own. We LOVE Papis and the thought of him being in pain, unhealthy, and being back at the shelter is incredibly hard to bear. Seeing him back to his happy and playful self would be a huge relief for our family.
