Parker is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever in Moyock, NC, who needs $2,000 for Enterotomy.

Parker was the sweetest gift brought into my life when he was just a pup born on Christmas Day. Since then he’s shared so much life with me. Every core memory in my house is with him and if you’ve ever met him you’ve met the goofiest four legged friend you’ll ever have. He has watched me grieve, love, laugh and has been my non judgmental companion for almost 7 years.

Parker unfortunately decided to act out of character and tear up couch cushions a couple of days ago and while I had hope he was going to do Lab things and just get a little sick, he has taken a turn for the worst. Parker has fabric pieces stuck inside him and on Wednesday night I have had to rush him to East Carolina Animal Emergency where he is getting the exceptional care he needs.

Parker doesn’t know a stranger. Whether a person, a dog or a cat he wants to play with them all! He is the most loving and attentive boy and just loves to love and be loved. But he’ll feel extra loved with a blueberry treat or a game of fetch!

Some reading this may know I just started a new job after months of struggling and trying to get stabilized and back on my feet. Parker has been there through it all and to get him healthy and back to himself is my only goal but unfortunately I can’t do that on my own.
