Passion is a 1-year-old English Bulldog in McKinney, TX, who needs $1,317 for C-section Surgery.

Legacy Humane Society took in three potential pregnant mamas from a breeder in their community. Upon intake, it was discovered that only two out of the three where pregnant: Passion and Dot (another mama posted on our website). Both mamas are very young themselves so the rescue stepped into action to help.

Passion, much like Dot, went into early labor requiring an emergency C-section surgery. Unfortunately, two pups were not formed enough yet to survive, and the other two went into foster care with around-the-clock medical attention. However, despite the foster’s best efforts, they did not make it.

The rescue continues to take care of Mama Passion in her foster home until she herself finds her forever home. For now, they are doing all they can to help her heal from the inside out. She is said to be very sweet, playful, and loves to be outside. She also enjoys laying around with her foster family.

Legacy Humane Society doesn't know how Passion and the other pregnant mama (Dot) got into their situation, being so young themselves, but they are so glad they were able to step in and help. Without them, who knows what would have happened to Mama Passion? Even though her puppies did not survive, they were still able to help Passion find safety and comfort.
