This precious girl is Patches — a soft, gentle one-year-old soul who has already endured more pain than most cats ever should. She was living as a stray when tragedy struck: Patches was attacked by a dog and left with a severely broken leg. Thankfully, a kind-hearted person found her and rushed her to safety.

Patches is now in the loving care of New Life Cat Rescue, but she still has a long road ahead.
After being examined, the heartbreaking news came in: her leg is too damaged to save. To give Patches the pain-free, joyful life she deserves, her leg will need to be amputated. She's currently on pain medication and antibiotics to keep her stable, but surgery is urgent.
