About this campaign
My family and I went to pick out a dog at a pet store 17 years ago. There was a cage with several poodles running around everywhere and Patches came directly to me, and didn't want to leave my side. I always say that she chose me. We never got another pet again. Patches spread love throughout the house to everyone.
Patches used to enjoy car rides, going to the dog parks, playing with dog toys and plastic bottles, and most of all laying next to me. Since she brain tumor, her vision isn't good, she's barely walking, crystal in pain, seems confused alot, and has difficulty finding her food so we feed her baby food through a syringe.
Patches is taken to the vet for follow ups alot which adds up, and this surgery is expensive. She and I live alone and she is quickly getting worse. I'd love to help her to not be in pain.
Her current vet is Scarbrough Animal Hospital. Patches began getting weaker a year ago, than started walking in circles, then began having seizures monthly. She was diagnosed with having a brain tumor. As time goes on, she's in more pain, barely walks, and her vision has deteriorated. The vets have said that it will only get worse without surgery.
Patches been by my side for 17 years and is like my child. She always knew when I was down and would lay or sit next to me to comfort me. If someone else was babysitting her she's wait by the door until I returned to pick her up. She has been another member of the family for half of my life and hope to have her here for much longer.
