Pattye is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in San Marcos, TX, who needs $1,500 for Amputation of Tail.

My nephew called me and said Aunt Ava, Aunt Ava, I am having a cattatrophe. Ferrel mama was having babies at his front door , the mama was eating two kittens to provide milk for the other 4 kittens. So I gathered them up including mama and bought them home. She was the fattest at the time so I named her Fattye Pattye. Then she became the smallest and i dropped the Fattye part.

I was pet sitting and my nephew was watching the cats, food , water. Something must have chased her and she went over the wood fence getting her tail caught, it pulled the hair off and was a little bloody., the vets office was closed . The next morning I went and found her and the tail had fallen off, about 6 or 7 inches. Took her to the vet she had a temperature of 104. The vet said she had a

Toxic infection and the tail had to be amputated. She is an outside cat and sits in my lap when I go out . She loves her brother, they touch noses all the time. She tolerates my baby nephew and niece. Loves to be petted and played with.

I am a widow for 15 years now and had to wait till this month to pay my taxes with( penalties) . Last month I took two of my other cats into the vets one was cat bite, the other had an upper respiratory infection. That was$900. And now this. HELP please
