Paul is a 11 year old American Shorthair in Old Town, ME, who needs $2,200 for Tooth Extraction and Dental Cleaning.

One day, 11 years ago, I wanted a kitten. I went to visit my local shelter and instead in the parking lot I was met by a lady who had a carrier with six kittens and three full grown cats that she was about to leave with the shelter. She asks “do you want one?” That’s when I picked my baby Paul. Hes the light of my life, even if I thought he was a girl cat for the first couple months.

Paul goes to Veazie Vet where they treat him so nicely. What isn’t nice is the tooth that’s holding on for dear life. He needs a cleaning but more importantly he needs one of his big teeth removed. He’s slowing down his eating, which can’t happen for a 11 year old cat. He is healthy otherwise but his mouth pain is slowing him down.

Paul loves love. He loves everyone that he’s ever met as long as they’re nice to him. He gives hugs, he flops over on your feet, he knows his name and comes running to bed, he loves having his own pillow. Sometimes in the middle of the night you’ll hear this really strange meow and it’s just Paul with a foil ball hanging out of his mouth. He makes my favorite noises.

He’s the light of my life and the biggest piece of my heart. I just want to see my boy not struggle to eat and have water not hurt his teeth. If you ever met and spent time with Paul, I promise he remembers you and still loves you.
