Paul is a 6 month old Mix-Breed in Southaven, MS, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Fracture Fixation.

I unfortunately do not know Paul's background / living situation prior to his intake at the Memphis Animal Services. According to his medical records provided by MAS, he first arrived on 07/13/24 & an issue with his front right paw later with an x-ray showing 4 of his metacarpal bones being broken & healing improperly.

We were given two options -
1. Surgery to reset his metacarpal bones with pins/screws due to his paw healing incorrectly. (est. $3400+)
2. Amputation. (est. $1400)

Since Paul is so young, we are eager to save his leg in hopes to live a full life without any disadvantages.

He will be seen at Precious Paws Animal Hospital in Southaven, MS.

I honestly was not looking to adopt when I came across a post sharing the current animals at MAS that were in danger of euthanasia &/or medical. Paul was one of the pups featured & I instantly fell in love with his sweet face.
I had this gut feeling that he needed us & we needed him. I knew I wanted to save him & that he would fit right in to our family.

Adopting Paul happened all so fast & we are just needing a little help with surgery cost so his treatment is not prolonged any further. We are anxious to see this sweet boy living his best life!
