Paulie Girl: Found abandoned and severely injured after being struck by car

Pulled from the streets of Cleveland after being hit by a car, this sweet girl is now fighting her way back. She has a fractured pelvis (ilium) and a severe compound fracture to her tibia—injuries that will require two major surgeries.

We are hopeful for a full recovery, but her care is estimated to cost around $7,000, not including her spay and routine veterinary needs.

But cases like this take a huge toll on our monthly budget—and every dollar spent here means fewer resources for the countless dogs sitting in overcrowded shelters, perfectly healthy but running out of time.
