Meet Pax, the 13yr old love of my life and eldest furbaby. He recently has been diagnosed with diabetes. He hasn’t been feeling himself drinking a lot of water lately and while I was cleaning I stepped on a tooth which just fell out. I immediately took him to the vet to be evaluated. The vet needs to do surgery to remove teeth which is unfortunately because of his genetics and age.

Pax is the sweetest most loving little lamb a furmom could ever ask for. He loves everybody and every thing. He loves his tenny ball and he loves going swimming. I wish he felt better so he could actually swim until his heart's content. I know he's getting old and I know he needs help... but I just need my little boy back

He loves playing with his tenny ball (not so much lately because of his teeth and diabetes. He's a highly intelligent goof and makes everything worth it. He lives sitting next to me and giving me kisses. And any time I leave the house he sits by the door I left from and just waits for me. Sometimes he'll sit on the back of the couch and watch me leave. We are joined at the hip

I guess he had diabetes for a while because his teeth are falling out. He needs his teeth removed so he can feel more like himself. They are causing issues with his eyes...but once his teeth are removed his eyes will get better. I've started him on insulin Injections and I'm currently looking for the best food he can eat. His veterinarian has been just amazing.

I cannot afford his surgery. I'm on disability qnd it's just not feasible for me. I did everything I could just to get him on insulin and have him on his way to getting better. I feel like an utter failure. As a mom and as his provider. I just want my little soul mate back
