About this campaign

My kitten peaches was born in May of 2021. She is a sweetheart and very loving. But she is food aggressive and scoffs her food down so fast. She then steals the other cats food ( I have 3 others). It is like she is a ferral cat but she isn't. When I feed her or when I eat, I have to shut her in my bedroom so she won steal the other cats or my food.

Peaches has a sister and two cousins. Her cousins ate two days older then her. She is easy going and loves attention. Her uncle and her cousins luve with her here. Her sister and father live with my daughter. She plays well with the other cats but because she is half the size of them, she get mowed over by them. She does play by herself a lot and loves to snuggle.

I'm not sure why she scoffs her food down so fast. It's like she hasn't eaten in a month. She only weighs 4.5 lbs. I started feeding her dry food with just water twice a day. Then she gets dry food with water and moist food at night. I'm thinking she either has a thyroid issue or has diabetes. She won't eat just plain dry food. But does dry water. I can't afford the labs to find out what she has.

I use Otterside vetinary clinic in Brandon,VT. Thats where i got her spayed. I have tried to apply for the cate credit but got denied because of my poor credit history. The vets won't set up a payment plan either as they have gotten burned in the past by other clients. Which leaves me between a rock and a hard place. I love my pets and want the best for them, but it's hard at times.

I am on SSI and can't afford pet insurance, let alone a huge vet bill. I have never had a pet with this type of issue before and want to find out how I can help her not be food aggressive.
