About this campaign

I got Peaches when she was 7 years old. I first met her when I went over to the house of my friend Gabe. When I first saw Peaches I thought she was the most beautiful cat I have ever seen. A year later my friend had to move and I adopted her. I am her 3rd and final home. She is 17 years old. She is the love of my life.

My cat was wrongly diagnosed with an ear infection. I was prescribed ear drops and was told her eardrum was destroyed and there was nothing they could do. I went to get a second opinion at Eau Claire Animal Hospital, they diagnosed her with a polyp, but it's so advanced now that I have to take her out of state for an advanced surgery, my local vet cannot do.

Peaches, even at age 17 is like a young cat. I have videos from a little over a year ago that show her still getting the zoomies and running around, playing with toys, eating normally, interacting more. Since the polyp got so bad, she doesn't like to play, it's hard to get her to eat more than liquid food. She struggles to breathe and smell. She mostly sleeps now.

I am in between jobs with no savings, I maxed out my credit card and care credit to pay for rent, bills, and vet appointments, which include medication for her poylp. I have very little support and I am by myself.
