Peaches is a 4 year old American Longhair in Mountain View, CA, who needs $2,000 for Mammary Surgery.

Peaches came into our lives after we drove down to LA on a summer day, to rescue her from a high kill shelter. She was very shy, hiding under her blanket and we knew we needed to save her despite the tumor she came in as a stray with.
She has given us so much joy, love and laughter over the past five months. She has the biggest heart, and sweetest soul. We can’t imagine life without her!

Peaches will require surgery to remove the large tumor in her breast pad(s). An ultrasound interpretation and radiograph consult and labs confirm her breast cancer diagnosis. She is currently on pain medication to keep her comfortable. Fortunately, the cancer hasn’t metastasized.

Peaches always greets you with a sweet little chirp, even when she’s not few her best. She loves her big brother Peter ( chocolate Labrador), her partner in crime. The two have fun getting into trouble together! Peaches knows when we are struggling and sad; she will sit with us for hours knowing that’s all someone needs. She is an amazing soul, unlike any other.

We were laid off from our full time position due to business financial difficulties. We are working a part time contract position but the hiring environment is tough in the tech and biotech sectors.
