About this campaign
Peanut has been a very important part of my life since the moment he was born.He grew into a gentle, affectionate cat who has always loved being near people. Peanut is the kind of cat who makes every guest feel welcome—he’ll jump up beside them or roll over to show his belly. He has been by my side for 12 years, offering companionship, laughter, and comfort through life’s hardest moments.
Peanut was diagnosed with congenital heart disease, a condition he has lived with for many years that requires ongoing care to monitor his condition and determine whether his medications need to be adjusted. This ongoing care is critical to managing his heart disease and giving him the best quality of life possible. He's under the care of Dr. Jessica Tully at Southpaw Animal Clinic in Madison, AL.
Peanut has one of the warmest, most affectionate personalities I’ve ever known in a cat. He loves attention and never misses a chance to curl up in my lap or gently nudge my hand for more pets.He also has a playful side—he loves chasing toys, batting at strings, and even tries to “help” me with chores by following me everywhere.Despite his condition,he has never allowed it to get the better of him
This year has been challenging for my family, with both Peanut and his sister Skyler both needing veterinary care at the same time, it has stretched us beyond our limits. We’ve depleted our savings.Your support will give him the chance to keep fighting and get the needed care.
