About this campaign

On May 17, 2024, my daughter were on our way to my daughters Dr. Appt, when I happened to look at this little animal flop around. It was then I realized it was a kitten. She had to of been tossed from a moving vehicle and she hit the ground hard and barrel rolled. It was raining and i pulled over and I ran to this kitten. She was bad off. I stopped traffic to get her. Got to car and wrapped her up

Peanut's injuries are pretty severe. Her left hind leg has a fractured tibia. Her right front paw was degloved and 3 toes/fingers were removed so her fingers/toes nails will not grow back. Her left front leg is good no injury. Her right hind leg has a fractured femur. Due to the way it broke it needs a pin placed so she can keep the leg, but we have chosen to amputate her right hind leg.

We have 3 other animals. 2 male adult cats, 1 female pit mix puppy and of course Peanut. Due to the condition of Peanut she is her full self. What I can tell you is that she is very spicy and has a strong will to survive. She is sweet as well. She likes to be held and she wants to run and walk but since she has splints on she cannot. But she can army crawl with just her only good arm.

We know that Peanut will have a long recovery but it's worth it to see the light in my 14yr daughters face. She needed Peanut, and God knew that. I am unable to afford her surgery $950. I cannot apply for credit or loans either. I just need a little help to help her. Thanks
