About this campaign
We had been wanting to adopt a small dog for a very long time. Then by chance, we found This adorable little puppy about 3 hours from us available in the midst of the Covid lockdown. My 9 year old son named him Peanut Butter. Peanut has 2 siblings, one is another Chug named Daisy and the other is a Rottweiler named Harley.
Peanut is an amazing dog. For such a small dog, only about 10 pounds, he has the biggest personality ever! He is a super good cuddler and will jump on your lap and want to be pet. But, his favorite place to be is outside. He loves to take walks and go on hikes and explore our local area. His best friend is his little sister Daisy, and he is definitely the boss of the three of our dogs.
Since Covid, I have had to stop working to be home with my 2 kids and do virtual school. So unfortunately I have no income coming in right now. It would mean the world to us to be able to have Peanut run again pain free & be a normal puppy again.
At just 10 months old though we noticed he was bunny hopping in his back legs. Soon after he developed a terrible limp on his back leg after a long walk. Fearing he sprained his leg we took him to the vet. His veterinarian diagnosed him with Luxating Patella. This is a hereditary condition where knees dislocate randomly & is very painful. He will be getting surgery at Wilson’s veterinary Hospital.
Peanuts favorite treat ever, is peanut butter! He loves it as a treat in his Kong. When he’s not having special treats, he loves to play tug with a rope toy with our other two dogs. But his absolute favorite toy to play with is tennis balls. He will run all over to catch them and bring them back to us just to do it all over!!
