Peanut is a 6-year-old Chiweenie in Michigan City, IN, who needs $1,300 for eye removal surgery.

Peanut was 5 weeks old and the runt the people didn't want her and was gonna just throw her away like trash and abandon her so I said NO ill take her and she's now 6 yrs old and my best friend she's always with me and sleeps with me . She's a good dog and is so loving and caring If I'm having a bad day she's makes it go away when my son was killed last year she helped me stay sane !!

She loves to sleep with her mama ( me) and were I go She go's she's literally my BF and my emotional support animal without her . honestly I would probably fall into a deep depression I need to help my her she's in so much pain and I've always had the means to take excellent care of her . She's chipped. Up to date on shots . Regular baths . Nails clipped . Vets visits. Meds . Good food and treats

I'm the only one working and hours are cut with covid and all and always paying hundreds of dollars to now have to remove her eye asap I don't have the money I tried care credit but my credit isn't high enough yet as I am building my credit at the moment but still not there

She has very high pressure in her eye its 65 we have been to 2 vets multiple times . Tried 3 meds nothing works she's seen an optomoligist at Purdue and she's now blind in her right eye and can't be saved she need emergency eye removed surgery before her eye bursts and she can die ive already spent hundreds to now remove her eye and it must happen asap she's in alot of pain she is on pain meds

She's makes me smile and laugh she's so funny and she knows when I'm upset or sad and comes amd makes me feel better she just knows and she gets so excited when I come home from work and goes around and around in circles and goes crazy without her I'd definitely fall into depression she's my buddy
