Pearl is a 4-year-old Old English Bulldogge in Howell, MI, who needs $268 for Vaccines.

Pearl was born in Arkansas to a family that had only one litter. The owner of her mother breeded her with her son's male, because they were great dogs and knew they would have a quality litter. Pearl has traveled with me from living in Louisiana and now back to my home state of Michigan. She loves to travel everywhere she can with me. She loves car rides and looking out the window.

Pearl is very animated and funny; she has a very serious face, which makes her look grumpy, but she is very happy! She loves her kitty Gem and has taken on the mother role with him; she is very maternal.
Pearl loves people and attention, she loves to snuggle and talk. Pearl likes other dogs and has favorite dogs in our family, like Ruby the black lab and Maizie the English Bulldogge.

Pearl lets me know what she needs by her vocal whine; she makes different noises when she has to go outside, is hungry, or is time for me to get up. Every morning, she acts like she hasn't seen me in years, yet she was just sleeping by my side (she spoons me!). She plays hard with her kitty, yet is so gentle. She puts his head in her mouth and massages him-he is so attached to her.

Pearl is healthy other than allergies. She struggles year-round with them. Her paws and ears get very inflamed, as well as her face. She has scratched her face so hard, she made wounds. I've tried at-home remedies as well as constant vet visits. The flair-ups are hard on her and difficult for me to watch.

I struggle with long-haul covid and have been disabled from this since September 2022. Before that, I was very active and making good money, and now I have very little money. It's hard to watch Pearl be uncomfortable until I can afford the vet.
