About this campaign

Pebbles was diagnosed with diabetes 6 years ago. Miraculously she still has her eye sight and is healthy. I lost my job and have been trying to work gigs to get by. We’ve made it so far but I can’t afford her insulin and she had her last dose this morning. I am asking for any help to get her Vetsulin vial. I have tried borrowing but everyone seems to be struggling too.

Pebbles has been under the care of the veterinarians at Banfield Petco in Downey California for two years.

Pebbles is a very special dog. Anyone who spends time with her loves her. She’s very intelligent and never needs treats to learn. I explain once, and she never forgets. Peb and I have little “inside” jokes. She is the nurturer of our little pack and stern. Pebbles is charismatic, funny, selectively friendly, can be a menace and moody from her blood sugar at times but she is the light around us.

I lost my job unexpectedly and doing gigs but it can be unpredictable. I live alone and have no family support. Her insulin used to be $55 a vial but has become overwhelming almost $100 now on top of her dose being raised. Any help is greatly appreciated.
