Penelope is a 9 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Houston, TX, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).

Penelope was born and raised by a family of breeders who eventually abandoned her. She was left behind, but somehow ended at my door. We kept her original name and have given her a much better life.

She was found badly injured, bloody, underweight, and positive for heartworms and hookworms. She was either run over or pushed out of a moving vehicle. She was given a FHO
Her other leg is now the problem and the cost is so expensive, I'm unable to afford it. I have a job, but I make less than before. It will cost over $4,600. The TPLO is almost 3 times more expensive than what the FHO cost.
