Penelope is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Merced, CA, who needs $1,500 for Dental Extractions.

Penelope is 8 and half years old. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is the little sister of my first fur baby. She is only 3 lbs and is the sweetest most loving cuddle baby. She loves treats and going on car rides. She is very social and loves people.

Recently I took Penelope for a check up and vaccines at Santa Fe Pet Hospital in Merced CA. After the exam I was advised that due to her size and age she has extensive dental issues and needs extractions. They expect to extract approximately 14 teeth and advised me without this surgery her life span will be greatly shortened.

Penelope is the most affectionate little girl. She loves to love and she loves people. She has a big personality and is very social. Her brother and her have never been apart and look for each other if the are in separate rooms too long. She loves to cuddle and she loves treats and naps. She brings great joy and love to our household.

I am seeking help because the surgery is an estimated $1500. I am a full time student and work a full time job but still barely make ends meet. I'm heartbroken to face the realization that my little Penelope's life span is at risk of being shortened.
