Hi, my name is Melinda and my little girls name is Penelope. Penelope came into my life in December of 2017 at the age of 4. I was scrolling through Facebook and a group that I'm in someone had posted a picture of Penelope stating "he regretfully had to rehome her". Long story but he loved her so much that he wanted her to have a life more suitable to her needs. I like to think she rescued me!

Penelope loves to go for walks and loves car rides. I think she desires to be a motorcyclists! She absolutely loves when a big Harley pulls up next to us, she can hear the roar of their motor and gets super excited before even seeing it. She is not like any pet I've ever owned. It's like we were always meant to be together. She is always by my side, sleeps with me eats with me. A true companion.

There's not enough space here to tell you how special my little girl is and how she means the world to me. She came to me when I didn't know that I needed her the most. My daughter who is 18 now always teases how Penelope gets more presents and attention then her! You won't see many pictures of Penelope with cute clothes on. She despises clothes she heads for the hills if she sees a shirt coming

I'm reaching out for help because a few weeks ago Penelope started having significant nasal drainage and fevers. When I got her to the vet I found out she actually needs her teeth removed. Penelope also has Ocular seizures and this has been a rough time for her.

I have always saved up to pay for vet bills and unexpected medical for her. But over the last 2 years I've not been able to save any extra money. I feel horrible that it has come to this but I can't watch my little girl suffer. The last act of kindness Is breaking my soul!
