Penelope is a 5 year old Blue Russian/Tabby mix. She has an older and younger sister cats in the house and lives with her human silblings mom and dad. She is an indoor cat who has never been outdoors besides going to the vet. She is a well mannered love bug who loves watching the birds from her window tree with her sisters.

Penelope is definitely the middle sibling but has enjoyed being the big sister to Mila as her older sister is much other and not as playful haha. She typically sleeps with her human sister as she loves her blankets. During the day she can be found watching the neighborhood birds with her sisters from the back window.

My husband is a Navy Reservist, who took a pay cut when he got deployed. He has been gone since September and unfortunately they have messed up now 6 months of pay that they haven't fixed. We have used all of our savings & maxed out credit cards.

Over the weekend Penelope started having labored breathing, fever, no appetite. After a very costly ER visit where they did every lab panel and x-ray they could the only thing they found was her red blood cell count was elevated. So there is nothing to explain her sneezing, respiratory distress, fever or snotting at the nose now. They recommended another ER that has an oxygen room.

Penelope was purchased right before my husbands second deployment together as a married couple. She was my cuddle buddy as we ventured through another year deployment. When I had my surgeries she could always be found laying next to me comforting me like she knew something was wrong. Her kiddos and sisters have been worried as she has not been her spunky self.
