Hi my name is Penny and I was adopted from an animal rescue in Texas. I was so excited to find my new home and couldn't believe my brother was coming home with my auntie, too! I am so happy we could stay together!

I love my Mom, she always plays with me and takes me for walks! We go to the beach and I love to swim! I even have a mermaid life vest that helps me float. I am a very sweet little girl and I love everyone I meet! I'm pretty sure everyone comes over just to see me! I love toys that squeak and I throw them in the air so I can chase them. My favorite thing to do is wrestle and play tug with my brother.

I was so excited to be home, but I started feeling sick after 2 weeks. I was rushed to the hospital and they told me I have congestive heart failure because of something called PDA. I also couldn't breathe because I had pneumonia and fluid in my lungs. I had parasites and other infections too. I needed surgery to save my life. My mom was so scared!
