Penny is a 10-year-old Daschund in Tucson, AZ, who needs $1,400 for Mass Removal.

She was part of a litter of 6 puppies and the smallest but the only one that came to me because of her color I named her Penny she is an only "child i have had her for 10 years she has been healthy up until a few months ago when she needed dental surgery we believe this is the last thing we need to fix

She is spoiled loves to cuddle with our kids never leaves my side and despite being 10 years old is very active she lives to burrow in blankets and couch cushions any place she can find she doesn't like being alone so she always looks gor the first available spot where someone is sitting or laying down so she can join

She is such a playful dog despite her age even though she had all her teeth removed she is as hyper and active as ever my mom had a dachshund only a year older and she was not active at all do we feel blessed she is happy but she can't seem to catch a break with all the recent medical problems we believe after this she will be fine

She has a growth on her chest they did some blood work that was $279 and said its cancerous but they are not sure if its benign or malignant they need to remove it for further testing and the surgery is 1400.00 she will go to rita ranch pet hospital we need to act asap before it becomes more of an issue

Penny recently had to have all her teeth removed and because of her age a specialist had to do the surgery which was $6000 we are in extreme debt because of it and now this the vet believes the growth is benign but won't know till after its removed
