Story time! I found Pepe 8years ago…more like he found me. I still remember that day I was walking out to go to school when I opened my door he was in front of the door waiting. This poor potato was so skinny. I took him inside and gave him water and food. I spent the whole day taking care of him. Never regretted missing that class lol. Now he lives with me and we’re best buds.

I used to live on my own renting a room. Ever since his accident I started to pay extra for him to stay with me in the house. I love love love him being with me. He’s such a couch potato. He loves people hugging him laying next to him and scratching his head. He enjoys his personal space with certain naughty cats though. He loves to stroll around the block and helps me get my work done.

My dog is special to me because he has helped me feel less depressed with his silliness. On the days where I couldn’t get out of bed he would get up and sneeze on me or sit on my stomach. Taking him on walks and seeing him happy when I get home from work has changed my perspective in my life. He’s gone through so much yet he thrives in being a coach potato.

On July 30 I received a call from my family that he was attacked by dog. I took him to the only emergency clinic that was open that day and time. Pepe was in severe condition so without hesitation I took him and they were able to save his life. Now he needs dental procedure to remove the teeth that are decaying. So it doesn’t I cause problems to his heart condition.

I live on my own work two jobs and go to school full time. I am still paying off his previous vet bill for im the end of June it was 5000 I owe 3900 so far thanks to help from friends and family. I just need a help from my community.
