Pepper is a 8 year old American Shorthair in Andover, MA, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostic Testing.

Pepper as a tiny kitten was rescued by a police officer on the side on the road in Edgartown, Mass. I had found her sibling the same day in the woods by my house. At the time I was volunteering at the animal shelter. Unfortunately Pepper’s sibling did not make it. I was hoping to adopt him and had already named him Huckleberry. Pepper came home with me instead and another kitten, Petra. ❤️

Right now I am with Pepper at Mass Vet Memorial Hospital ER in Woburn. She has multiple issues that they are grappling with here. They are performing an ultrasound, giving her fluids, and trying to diagnose exactly what is going on. This is the first step. In a few hours, I may need to admit her for overnight care.

Pepper is a love bug. She loves her pet siblings and humans. Especially Petra, Gypsy and Kai. She loves to sit on laps and get pets. I have holes in most of my leggings from her sitting with me. When she is feeling well she can boss Petra around. Pepper is a treasured family member. I need to try everything I can to keep her healthy for as long as possible. She deserves it.

Last spring I fell an broke my wrist. I was on leave from work and will be returning to work next week. I owe this to Pepper to do everything within my power to help her. The costs are just beyond my capabilities right now.
