Pepper is a 4-year-old Schnauzer Mix in Ceiba, PR, who needs $2,000 for Surgery on Front Left Leg.

We got adopted pepper from someone who was giving her away for free on Facebook. My kids have been wanting a dog for our new home and would rather adopt than shop especially in Puerto Rico.

Pepper is a playful, loving and smart pup. She loves to play with other dogs as well as her human siblings. She likes to cuddle up and sleep next to anyone on the couch.

Pepper loves to make friends with other dogs and also cats. She also snores loudly when taking a nap sometimes. She has a cute little underbite with a big bottom lip :)

We have a fully fenced/gated yard however unfortunately while eating dinner (with the back door open for pepper to come back inside) we didn’t realize she figured out how to sneak out and went into the street. She was hit by a motorcycle which fractured her front left leg in 2 places. The vets say she needs surgery which will be about $2000.
