Pepper is a 11 year old Chihuahua in Fleetwood , NC, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

My sweet Pepper was a gift from my husband. I was broken hearted from the death of a rescued dog named Soankie. He was very old and had cancer. I was so devastated by the loss of this dog. I just couldn’t get over it. Pepper. has been my buddy for 11 years. I love him so much. I really heed him in my life. Pepper is the reason I was able to find happiness again.

Pepper has IVDD and is in pain and having trouble walking. Dr. Watson at Animal Hospital of Boone told me he needed a MRI and surgery to fix the disc that is pressing on his spine. Without it she said I would have to consider euthanasia. We are trying meds now but they aren’t working well.

Pepper is such a sweet dog. He sleeps with me every night. Loves to give kisses. He tries so hard to walk but can’t. I would love to see him happy and pain free again.

This has come at a difficult time. My father passed away, I am working part time so I can help my mother. I don’t have the money for the treatment that Pepper needs. I have been struggling after the death of my father, and don’t know how I can get through the loss if Pepper
