Pepper is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Gardena, CA, who needs $2,000 for Vulvoplasty.

I saved rescue as a stray in streets of Los Angeles. The vets suggested she was 4-6 months when I found her and we’ve been together since! Pepper is truly the glue that holds me together. She is now 8.5! Pepper lives with her baby sister, a 6lb Chihuahua. The way the play is so sweet and comical due to the size difference!

Unfortunately, in the last 2 years, she has been getting frequent UTIs. She is now going through another one, just after recovering from one 2.5 months ago. The vets say that it could be due to her hooded vulva and they are suggesting a vulvoplasty. We hope to be able to proceed the surgery at our local veterinary office, Rosecrans Veterinary Clinic.

Pepper is the sweetest and silliest girl. She is so good with all animals, strangers, and family members. She has been surrounded by little dogs her whole life so she naturally possesses a gentle approach. She wishes she can play with cats but they all run when they see her! She loves giving kisses. She loves to play with her toys and loves to run!

As a 1099 employee working off incentives, income is very inconsistent and always fluctuating. I am still playing off my school loans and recently started to care full time for my younger sister. In addition, Pepper’s vet bills during the last 3 years have just really piled!
