We got Pepper when a friend of ours was giving away a litter of puppies. The moment we saw her, we instantly fell in love. She looked just like her siblings, adorable and full of energy ,but what made her stand out was a small white spot on her nose that gave her the sweetest, most unique expression. That little mark was enough to let us know she was the one.

Pepper was recently diagnosed with pyometra, a serious and life-threatening infection of the uterus that requires emergency surgery. Hearing the news broke our hearts, especially because she’s such a loved member of our family. What’s made this even harder is that the cost of the surgery ranges in the thousands,something we simply can’t afford right now.

Pepper is my emotional support animal, but truly, she’s my everything. When panic takes over, she’s the only one who can calm my heart. She stays by my side, loving me through every breakdown, every tear. She’s saved me more times than I can count. Now she needs life-saving surgery, I can’t afford. I’m terrified. I just want to save the one who's always saved me.
