I found this poor sweet baby in the woods with a limp leg, and after talking to the man who lived on this property, he admitted to accidentally stepping on his foot at a very young age. I took him in to be seen immediately and decided to make him part of our family.

X-rays revealed his toes are shattered, his leg is broken, and he has a luxated patella. The damage to his growth plates means his foot, hip, and leg have stopped growing. Due to these severe injuries, he’ll need an amputation. We’ve consulted multiple vets for opinions and prices, but time is against us. He’s growing, and his leg is becoming more painful and no longer reaches the ground.

My kitten absolutely adores his big brother, following him around everywhere and watching his every move, always eager to join in whatever he’s doing. Treat time is one of his favorite moments, and he perks up instantly at the sound of the treat bag. Playtime is another highlight of his day, he’s always full of energy. But when the fun winds down, he loves snuggling under the blanket with me.

Due to unexpected, sudden major expense, we could use all of the help we can get in order to give Pepper a better life. We want nothing more than for him to be able to have a normal cats life for a long time! His prognosis is good if we are able to get his procedures.
