About this campaign

Pepper came into my life under the most extraordinary circumstances. My ex-wife discovered him while at a parking garage in South Beijing. After my divorce, I brought Pepper with me to the United States, and he became my steadfast companion as I started a new chapter in my life. Now living alone in New York City, his presence fills my home with warmth and love.

In early 2024, Pepper was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. The gold standard treatment for this ailment is radioiodine therapy, which my veterinarian has assured me is 98% effective in curing cats of this condition. While we’ve been managing his health with an iodine-restrictive diet, it falls short in providing the protein he needs to stay strong and healthy.

Pepper is an incredibly special Tuxedo cat with a personality that lights up any room. Born in Beijing, China, Pepper has been by my side through thick and thin. When I went through a difficult divorce, I brought him with me to the United States, and he became my constant source of comfort and strength as I rebuilt my life.

Pepper has a unique way of bonding with everyone who meets him!

Pepper is a cherished member of my family, and seeing them unwell has been heartbreaking. Unfortunately, the cost of the necessary treatments is beyond my current financial means. I am reaching out for support because these treatments are crucial to ensuring that he'll live.
