Peppercorn Has the Worst Mouth His Vet Has Ever Seen: Please Help Him Heal

Sweet Peppercorn was dumped outside amongst a feral colony of cats in Harrisburg city. A foster feeding the kitties noticed he was severely emaciated and took him to the vet.

The vet said his mouth was the worst she had ever seen and told the foster that he needed a full mouth extraction. However, his bloodwork has shown severe anemia, which won't allow him to have this procedure until his numbers come up.

He’s currently on special food that costs $85/case that helps nourish his body. He has to have monthly blood checks and daily medications, which cost hundreds of dollars. A full mouth extraction will cost Castaway Critters about $1,500. Peppercorn is so sweet and deserves to have this extraction so he can fully live out his life in a healthy way.

Peppercorn recently had a rather expensive biopsy and ultrasound on a mass in his mouth. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but the vet is almost positive this poor baby has cancer that is going down his throat. He's on steroids to continue getting his iron levels back up. The vet has prescribed antibiotics so he can be cleared for a dental procedure. He has the worst mouth Castaway Critter's vet has ever seen, and it's uncomfortable for him to eat.

Even though Peppercorn is going through so much, he still enjoys snuggling in his bed and on the back of the couch. Please help save this baby’s life. Any amount is appreciated and will go directly to his medical bills. Thank you for your kindness!
