About this campaign

Last fall, while at a farm, my kids and I met a puppy named Pepsi . We noticed that he had a difficult time walking and asked if the farmer thought Pepsi would be safe. He thought the puppy would be fine.
In April, I was surprised to get a phone call from the farmer asking if we would be willing to take Pepsi. He was now concerned for Pepsi's safety and wanted him to go to a good family.

We agreed to take Pepsi even though we didn't know what the issue was with his leg or if it was fixable. After x-rays at VCA Avondale Pet Hospital we were told that he has a grade IV luxating patella and needs a surgery that will cost between $5000-$7000. If we can't get the surgery he will eventually need to have his leg amputated and he is also likely to develop problems with his other knee.

Pepsi loves playing with his new family. Blueberries aren't just food but toys to be enjoyed before being eaten. Mom is planting the garden? He is super willing to help dig holes for the plants. When Pepsi isn't playing he loves to snuggle with his dog brother or his humans. Thunderstorms scare him but that is understandable since a tornado hit his new community days after being rehomed.

Months before we got Pepsi, we were asked to take a Yorkie. He was 9 months when we got him but had already had 3 other homes. We now have 3 dogs, two of which have either emotional or physical issues. We don't want Pepsi to suffer because the surgery is so costly.
